Being a belieber can be hard. We get teased, we get told we’re obsessed and weird, and we have to deal with constant negative comments from our friends, siblings, and parents. We have to endure people saying cruel things about Justin to our faces. We have to defend him against haters, and we have to deal with hateful rumours and try and ignore what’s in the press. We see pictures of him and Selena all loved up, and can’t help but feeling heartbroken and jealous. We are all desperate to meet him, and get depressed when we can’t. We wait months to see Justin in concert, and then suffer from post concert depression for every single day when the concert’s over. But it’s all worth it, because becoming a belieber is also one of the most amazing things that can ever happen to you. Whenever Justin achieves something: wins an award, has huge music sales or when NSN was such a massive success, we share the joy and excitement and it’s an incredible feeling! Nothing is more fun than fangirling over him if we see him on TV, and staying up late to watch him on award shows. And then there’s seeing him live: which is an experience which cannot be put into words. Supporting Justin is amazing, because he isn’t just any celebrity, he’s a real, normal guy (well as normal as somebody who posts pictures of dancing zebras can get), who’s loving and genuine. His dream came true, and he inspires us to do the same. Being a belieber is challenging, but it’s the best challenge that ever happened to me. And I never want it to stop.
